About Meghan Stolar Brown

Meghan Stolar Brown has been singing and playing piano since she was a toddler. Growing up in a household where every family member was a musician, music, particularly jazz, R&B, and rock, are part of her DNA. After a long run of piano recitals, chorus concerts, band shows and hours upon hours of listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder and many others, Meghan moved on to study voice at Berklee College of Music under professors like Robin McKelle and Armsted Christian. From there she moved to New York City where she graduated from New York University with a degree in Music Business. After falling in love with the city, Meghan decided to stay in New York and continues to practice music and is a member of a community choir.

Some of Meghan’s fondest memories have been sharing music with friends and family around the holidays and using song as a means of celebration. This album seeks to share these memories with all of you, while helping a charity that is near and dear to her heart at the same time.
